FAQs
What ages do you serve?
Tiny Triumphs offers early intervention and pediatric therapy for children from birth through 21 years old.
Do I need a referral to start therapy?
A referral is sometimes required depending on your insurance plan. However, you do not need a referral to contact us or request a developmental screening.
We are happy to guide you through the referral process if needed.
What happens at the first visit?
Your first visit includes a play-based evaluation where we:
Observe your child’s movement, play, communication, and sensory responses
Discuss your concerns and goals
Create a personalized therapy plan
Parents and caregivers are encouraged to attend and participate.
How long are therapy sessions?
Most sessions last 45–90 minutes, depending on your child’s needs and how to best support their progress.
Can parents attend therapy sessions?
Absolutely. We believe families are an essential part of therapy.
You will be involved, coached, and supported so progress continues at home.
What if my child cries or has trouble adjusting?
This is very common — and completely okay.
Our therapists are trained to move at your child’s pace, using play, comfort, and trust-building strategies to create a safe and welcoming environment.
Where does therapy take place?
We offer both clinic-based and community-based sessions, including homes, daycares, parks, and other familiar environments.
We believe in serving the community in the community — helping children build skills where they live, learn, and play.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes, we work with many insurance plans and are happy to verify your benefits before your first visit.
We will walk you through coverage, copays, and next steps.
